I got bored of the whole 'lyrics through titles' idea. It's not very metal. Plus, I stumped myself.

I don't mind having this journal thing, it's kind of neat. I wonder if Journey keeps a journal. That'd be weird.

So, yesterday was my B-day. It was good. Had band practice. That was good. Kyle (vocalist) gave me a pick used by Tony Balsalmo or whatever the fuck his name is. Some guitarist from evanescence. Nice thought, kind of a cool pick, but... hell, it's evanescense...

But one of the better things that happened was that we got a drummer who puts all of us in our places. He's way better then us, yet he's gonna stick with us, at least for a little while. So that's cool. If anyone's gonna be out of our league, it might as well be the drummer, since he can control the band better. I assumed the position of band leader, which is fine, since I fired our old drummer and I'm already doing other leadership type things but it doesn't really matter. I assume it's more beneficial for telling groupies, but groupies are dumb people and have AID's filled with herpesars.

We completed our first song, and it's good for a first song. I'll post it somewhere when we record it. We thought of band names, and this is in no way concrete, but we're thinking "Irreverence." I could go either way with it. Even though the meaning isn't emo, it sounds kind of emo, so whatever. I was thinking along the lines of... Beneath the Dragon's Wing... or... Dragonland's... or... Dragonflame. Something with dragons. Or the Five Daggers. But those are terrible and awful names, so, no. I'm not sure what to pick.

I'm currently working on a song called "Descend into Madness" which sounds pretty nice so far. I have lost a lot of confidence in my playing, so I need to practice a lot more. But this song sounds good, and the other guys like it, so I'm good with it.

Otherwise I had a decent birthday-day and such. Missed out on somethings but it ended with Oreo Pie so there is nothing wrong with that.
